Pray for Asu families to be drawn by the Holy Spirit to seek forgiveness through Christ alone, and to understand the adequacy of Christ’s work on the cross. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give them understanding and teachable hearts. Pray for the Asu culture to be renewed and enhanced by a work of the Holy Spirit and shaped into a God-centred and God-honouring mold. Pray that the few Christians among them will become vibrant disciples who will witness Jesus to their kinsmen.

DAY 4: STRIFE OF TONGUES
“You shall hide them in the secret place of your presence, from the plots of man. You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion, from the strife of tongues.” Psalms 31:20.
Insults, ridicule, scorn, mockery are examples of the strife of tongues, which a missionary often faces. Nehemiah and the Jews had to endure the touting and ridicule of Sanballat and Tobiah who mocked them before the people and army of Samaria (Nehemiah 2:19; 4:1-3).
