Appreciate God for His faithfulness and mercy toward everyone in the zone throughout 2022. Thank Him for bringing us into a new year. Receive grace, sound health and divine direction for the Zonal Director as he coordinates the work in the Zone. Ask God to supply his family and ministry needs. Commit all our operations this year into God’s hand. Pray that our labour will bring forth abiding fruit. Pray for all the missionaries and indigenous pastors in the zone to have a deeper walk with God. Receive grace for them to faithfully serve the Lord in their various mission fields and stations. Pray against the spirit of discouragement in their lives. Ask the Lord to supply all their family and ministry needs this year.

DAY 6: CURSES AND SORCERY
When the children of Israel, like a mighty missionary force, camped across Jordan in the plains of Moab, Balak sent for Balaam to curse and cast a spell against the Israelites. David also experienced the curses and accusations of wicked men, Psalm 109 verse 2 to 6; 17 to 20. Just as Balak went to great lengths made expensive sacrifices to get the Israelites cursed, even so are altars for cursing raised against missionaries on the field. There are still modern-day Elymases (Acts 13:4-11), withstanding missionary efforts, striving to curse their labour.
