Glorify God for this department and its team members. Thank God for many of our students who were able to return to school after the long strike. Commit the team unto God’s hand for renewed vision and burden for these youths and teach them appropriate strategies to be effective in achieving the objective of the department. Pray for God’s provision of a strong Car or Bus for the Department.

Bless the Lord for protection, deliverance, and preservation in the midst of security challenges. Appreciate the Lord on the behalf of our missionary in Paiko Bassa, for deliverance from Bandits. His house was invaded; fortunately, he wasn’t around. Give thanks to God for the lives of the missionaries, our partners, and the disciples. Praise God for all we were able to do and achieved last year. Pray that God will help us to walk faithfully with him this year and do great exploits for him.

Day 11: Supplies
Cutting off the supplies of fighting men has always been a strategy in warfare and is also applicable to missions. Missionaries are famished, discomforted and discouraged for lack of adequate supplies: materials, money, as well as men. Paul confessed that he was refreshed, cheered up, when three brethren came to him with supplies (1 Corinthians 16:17-18). He specifically asked that such men that bring supplies to missionaries should be acknowledged. As he stated elsewhere, “No one goes to war at his own expense”. Even Jesus had people who ministered to him of their substance (Luke 8:2-3).
- Receive open doors of supplies for missionaries, and that of their partners and supporters.
- Ask God to raise more co-workers whose task will be to “provide for missionaries of their own resources”. (Luke 8:3).
