WORSHIP AND THANKSGIVING
Glorify the name of the Lord with CMF; exalt his name on our behalf (Psalm 34:3).
Read the following scriptures and take time to worship and praise God for his abundant faithfulness to Christian Missionary Foundation in the year 2022.
Psalm 30:1-4; 34:1-7; 47:1-3; 65:1-5; 68:32- 35.
Give thanks to God for Sparing our lives, Being our Helper, Healing, Forgiveness of sins, Answered prayers, Deliverance from all fears, Protection, Salvation of souls of men on the missions fields, Granting us victories, Provisions of our needs, Upholding us with His righteous right hand, The demonstration of His unfailing love to us, Standing by us at all times and in all situations, The empowerment of the Holy Spirit, Breakthroughs, Success and fruitfulness, etc.
PRAYER OF FORGIVENESS AND MERCY—Psalm 51:1-12
Plead for God’s mercy over our lives. Ask God to forgive all our sins. Pray that God will cleanse us from all unrighteousness and make us whole. Ask him to renew a steadfast Spirit within us.
PRAYER OF DEEP INTIMACY WITH GOD
Pray that everyone in CMF will desire deep intimacy with God and pursue it (Psalm 42:1-2). Pray that we will strive to overcome all obstacles to closeness with God and abide in Him indeed (John 15:4). Pray that we will grow in grace and the knowledge of God more than ever before (2 Peter 3:18). Pray that we shall be deep in our spiritual life and not just in spiritual activities (Colossians 2:6-7).

Day 23: Immorality
When Balaam could not pronounce a curse on the children of Israel, He gave Balak a counsel, which he knew would expose the Israelites to God’s wrath. He asked Balak to send Moabite girls into the camp of the Israelites, and the result was that twenty four thousand Israelites were destroyed because of lust and immorality (Numbers 31:16, 25:1, 9). Frontier missionaries are daily buffeted by enticing daughters of Eve seeking to stir up lust in the missionaries. In many places, missionaries live in the midst of people whose usual dressing is half-nakedness. Single and married missionaries alike are regularly exposed to the spirit of lust and immorality.
- Today, rebuke the spirit of lust in and over the lives of missionaries.
- By the Spirit of God raise up a standard against it.
- Intercede that no missionary you know will have his ministry truncated by lust or immorality.
